Complete list of all 127 valid CSW21 two-letter words with Scrabble scores
If you want to get better at Scrabble, start here. Two-letter words are the building blocks of every high-scoring play. They let you play parallel to existing words, open up the board, and create multiple scoring opportunities in a single turn.
Expert players know every single 2-letter word by heart. It's not rote memorization for its own sake — it's the difference between being stuck with unplayable tiles and consistently finding 30+ point moves that your opponent never saw coming.
Consider this: playing a 7-letter bingo alongside an existing word requires knowing which 2-letter combinations are valid. Without that knowledge, you're leaving bingos on the table every single game.

Don't try to learn them all at once. Start with the ones that include high-value letters (QI, JO, AX, OX, EX, ZA) — these score the most points and your opponents are least likely to know them. Then learn the vowel-heavy ones (AA, AE, AI, OE, OI) which are perfect for parallel plays when you're stuck with too many vowels.
The CSW21 (Collins Scrabble Words 2021) list includes several 2-letter words not found in the North American TWL dictionary: DA, GI, OK, and others. If you play internationally or online, knowing these gives you an edge.
